Do you like to have fancy nails? My girls love to have their nails done, but with my goal to lead a healthier lifestyle I didn’t like the thought of them breathing all the chemicals in at the salon. They loved getting the gel paint and acrylic nails but that took a toll on their actual nails. And while they loved all the fun designs of the fancy press-on nails, they didn’t last long with my girls’ active lifestyle. That is why I love getting them color street nails. They have so many styles to choose from and you can mix and match them to make even more combinations. They are easy to put on, they last a while, and they come off just like regular nail polish. These also make fun gifts. They are small, easy to wrap and perfect to mail in a card. The first time I gave these to my girls, they were going to be apart for my older daughter’s birthday. I wanted to do something special to include both of them so I wrapped up a pack of color street nails for each of them. While they were still apart, they got to have a girl’s night together doing nails over facetime!

Before I get to my top products that I love about this company, I want to share my L’BRI story. I met Mishal, my consultant at a networking event. She asked if we could get together for a meeting. She wanted to try the Bemer and she wanted to show me her product. I will never forget… she came to my house with all this stuff and all I could think was “How am I going to tell this girl that I’m not interested?” I didn’t use skin care products or make up! My kids did, though, so I figured I could just buy something for them. I remember all of us sitting around my kitchen table getting facials. I remember seeing all the yuck come off our skin when we used the face peel and how amazing my skin felt afterwards. That night the girls and I made a wish list of all the stuff we wanted and we have been buying L’BRI ever since. I always say “wellness is a process” and this started our healthy skin care journey!
![]() If you would like to try L’BRI and don’t already have a consultant, contact Mishal: Mishal Long mishbeth@gmail.com https://lbri.com/longtale During the winter months, everyone is inside more, which makes more dust and germs throughout the house. I go through cleaner like crazy! A couple years ago, I decided to switch to more natural cleaners throughout my home so I started making my own. This is my recipe for the all-purpose cleaner that I use: ![]() Lemon Cleaner Recipe 1 ½ cups water- I like to use distilled ½ cup white vinegar 10 drops lemon essential oil All you do is mix it up and pour it into a spray bottle. Shake before using. I’ve used this on my wood floors, carpets, bathroom sinks, toilets… pretty much my whole house. I would suggest to spot check in a small inconspicuous area for surfaces that you are not sure about.
When the nice weather starts, I like to clean my screens for the summer. You would be surprised to see how dirty they get. The recipe I use is very easy to make, it smells great and it is made with only three ingredients! Happy Cleaning! ![]() Screen Cleaner Recipe 1 cup water 1 tsp baking soda 2-3 drops cinnamon essential oil Mix all ingredients together. Place in a spray bottle. Spray your screens and wipe clean with a rag. ![]() I’ve been working on using products in my home that aren’t filled with all the chemicals. I searched for a long time for a good chemical free hand soap recipe that doesn’t dry your hands out. I liked some of the ones that I found in the stores but they were really expensive. This recipe is on the cheap side and it works great! It is a thin consistency but suds up really nicely and it doesn’t leave soap blobs all over the sink! All you need is… ¾ cup distilled water ¼ cup of Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid Soap (Comes in Unscented, Almond, Tea Tree, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Citrus, Rose and Peppermint) We like the Almond and Peppermint. Just mix it up and pour into your soap dispenser. It’s that cheap and easy!! ![]() Hi. My name is Patty Sulik. I’m a mom that had a sick child. Nothing is worse than having a sick child and not knowing how to help them. It is frustrating, exhausting, overwhelming, and nothing I ever want to experience again. I tried anything and everything to get her better. I started working with wellness professionals, researched ways to cook with better foods, and looked into healthier products to use. Lots of trials and error got me where I am today. I came up with 8 wellness approaches to keep my family balanced and I will share my approaches on all of these with you. These include Bemer, eat well, exercise, have fun, reduce stress, use clean products, take vacations, and give back. In my experience, there is no one quick fix to get yourself healthy. It is a process. The process might be slow but it is well worth it in the end. One of the best things I found in my journey was a wellness device called a Bemer. This device helped me get my daughter better and now I love having it for all those daily issues that come up from illness to injury. This company has a mission to get a Bemer in every home and now that is my mission too! This device has completely changed our lives and I’m so grateful to have my family using this as a wellness tool to keep everyone happy and healthy. Let’s see what this can do for your family together! |
