This was our absolute favorite spot in all of Hocking Hills!
Conkle's Hollow has two trails. The George Trail and the Rim Trail. The George Trail is one of the easiest hikes in Hocking Hills and one of the most beautiful! The Rim Trail is a long 2 1/2 mile hike with beautiful views!
The Gorge Trail was our favorite trail in all of Hocking Hills!
The rim trial has the most breathtaking views!
Conkle's Hollow is a rugged, rocky gorge that is considered to be one of the deepest in Ohio. The vertical cliffs surrounding it rise over 200 feet above the mouth of the gorge!
At the half way point of this trail you will come to a bridge and the scenery changes from open views to views of the gorge.
Note: There are lots of stairs on the rim trail and it is probably not the best trail if you are afraid of heights. However this would make it a great trail to view the leaves in the fall!
